AI labs will pay to learn how your business runs.

Every model has read the public internet. None of them have watched a dispatcher reroute a late truck, an accountant chase a short-paid invoice, or a support rep close out a damaged shipment. AI labs now license de-identified copies of those everyday records to train their models, and HWY sells them on your behalf: we find the buyer, negotiate the terms and manage delivery.

No upfront fee. HWY is paid a percentage only when a deal closes.

What buyers are paying.

Deal size depends on how much you hold, how many years it covers and how hard it is to find anywhere else. These are the ranges AI data buyers are currently publishing for operational company data.

$100k+

A qualified company with several years of operational records across its core systems.

$500k+

Large datasets, or ongoing participation across multiple teams and business functions.

$1M+

Highly unique, proprietary operational data that can't be found elsewhere.

One short call is enough for us to tell you roughly where your company lands.

Labs want the records you already keep.

You don't need a data team, a warehouse or a clean export. What labs want is spread across the tools your people use every day, exactly as it sits there now.

  • Files and documents

Shared drives, SOPs, reports, spreadsheets, templates

  • Work conversations

    Slack, Teams, internal email threads

  • Customer records

CRM notes, support tickets, order history

  • Operations

    ERP, warehouse, dispatch, inventory, purchasing

  • Finance

    Invoicing, billing, reconciliations, approvals

  • Industry systems

Lab, quality, compliance, or anything specific to your trade

Paper archives can count too, if they can be scanned.

How a deal runs.

Four steps. Nothing leaves your systems until you've approved the buyer, the price and the use.

  1. We learn what you have.

A short call about your systems, how many years they cover and roughly how much they hold.

    No files change hands.

  2. We take it to buyers.

HWY approaches AI labs privately and comes back with what they're willing to pay and what they'd use it for.

  3. You decide.

You approve the buyer, the price and the permitted use.

If the terms aren't right, nothing moves.

  4. A de-identified copy is delivered, and you're paid.

Specialist third parties strip names, contact details, account numbers and anything sensitive from the copy before it goes to the buyer. Your originals stay exactly where they are.

What stays yours.

  • Ownership

You license one copy for one agreed use. You never sell the data, and you never sell the business.

  • The originals

Nothing is removed from or altered in your systems.

  • The decision

No buyer, price or use is final until you sign off on it.

  • Privacy

Personal, patient and client details are removed from the licensed copy before delivery. Regulated data is handled under the rules that apply to it, and we'll tell you early if something can't be included.

  • Your budget

No upfront fee. HWY earns a percentage only if a deal closes.

  • Your time

One call to start, a sign-off when there's an offer. HWY handles everything in between.

Who this is for.

Established operating companies with a few years of digital records. Buyers are looking across industries, so the shape of the records matters more than the sector.

  • IndustriesDistribution, logistics, manufacturing, trades, professional services, laboratories, healthcare operations
  • SizeRoughly 30 or more staff, with established processes and documentation
  • HistorySeveral years of records in your systems
  • RegionsDemand is strongest right now in Canada, the United States and the United Kingdom
  • LanguageRecords and day-to-day documentation in English

Questions.

What is our data actually worth?

It depends on volume, the kind of records, how many years they cover and how hard they are to find elsewhere. We'll give you a view after the first conversation, before anything is shared.

Could a competitor end up with it?

No. The license is for training AI models. It isn't a customer list or an operating playbook handed to another business, and the copy is de-identified before it's delivered.

Do we lose control of our data?

No. You license one copy for an agreed use. You keep the originals and the ownership, and you approve the buyer, the price and the use before anything moves.

What about personal, patient or client information?

It's removed from the licensed copy by specialist third parties before delivery. Regulated data is handled under the rules that apply to it, and we'll tell you early if something can't be included.

What does HWY charge?

Nothing upfront. We earn a percentage only if a deal closes. If no deal closes, you owe nothing.

How much of our time does this take?

The first call is short. After that, HWY handles the buyer conversations and comes back to you when there's an offer to approve. The pace from there depends on buyer interest and the size of what you hold, and we'll set expectations once we've seen the shape of it.
